Point and Shoot Fun!

This morning I woke up grabbed some coffee, my point and shoot, and headed to Old Town Temecula. I was on a mission. The guys over at Rebirth had a weekly exercise I wanted to participate in. The assignment this week was warmth. I was torn between the first two images, and ended up deciding on the first one. I really had a blast just walking around old town. Next weekend I'm taking my daughter...we'll see how she does. :)

This was the first image I shot and the one I went down there to shoot.

It had poured last night and there were a ton of big puddles...I love reflection shots.

This alley is where I shot the next image.

And I just love this self portrait!

So Chris is all like "I can do a cartwheel!" and I'm all "dude you better!" then he's all "it's gonna rock!" and I'm like "totally dude!" That's how it happened cuz that's how we roll in SoCal! :)

Summertime!

This past week the clouds parted, the sun shined, and we engaged in the annual Schwank Family Water War. Well it's actually the first annual, but hey ya gotta start somewhere. :) I so love summertime! As a kid growing up in the hills of Julian, we would play outside from sunup til sundown. Water fights, building forts, pickin' apples...hey if you've ever been to Julian you know we make some good apples. :) And if I didn't come home covered in dirt and mud it hadn't been a good day. Well enough of my rambling...here's my kiddos trying to soak me...must get water housing. :)

You can't get me kid!

Absolutely love their smiles when they laugh. :)

Oh my.... your kids are just adorable Zac! When my boys were that same age they used to adore 'bucket baths' out on the lawn on warm summer evenings. Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the super moms out there! So much of what you do comes so very natural. The way you look at your children, the way you hold and comfort them, the way you long to hurry home to see their smiling faces. Today is your day...dads listen up. Get Mom's favorite morning drink, break out the waffle iron, reach over your fence and snag one of those beautiful roses your neighbor so covets, and let Mom relax in bed while you and the kids make a fun breakfast you all can enjoy...oh and bring it to her in bed. :) Have a super day, moms! You deserve it!
