After all the economy isn't exactly rockin'. So when I passed that goal early on I was shocked, and then I thought about it. I have some amazing friends and family! I really do! Many of you gave, and we have never met in person. That tells me a lot about you, and me. I am truly blessed! The people who will benefit from your generosity will have access to clean water for 20 years! Think about that. You all are amazing and I am a very lucky guy to have friends like you!

This morning I woke up grabbed some coffee, my point and shoot, and headed to Old Town Temecula. I was on a mission. The guys over at Rebirth had a weekly exercise I wanted to participate in. The assignment this week was warmth. I was torn between the first two images, and ended up deciding on the first one. I really had a blast just walking around old town. Next weekend I'm taking my daughter...we'll see how she does. :)

This was the first image I shot and the one I went down there to shoot.

It had poured last night and there were a ton of big puddles...I love reflection shots.

This alley is where I shot the next image.

And I just love this self portrait!

So my last entry was a little glimpse about the way I've been feeling as a photographer. I really appreciated all the positive comments that you left. It really makes a difference...plus it makes me smile. Which isn't a bad thing. :) I've been toying with the idea of shooting food more and more...and to be completely honest I really love it! If you know me at all, you know that I love me some food. Good, healthy, yummy food! So the transition into food photography isn't that big of a stretch. Plus no one cares if all the pasta isn't looking at the camera. :P Recently I asked a friend and graphic designer to build a custom website for my family's restaurant. Josh Cagwin was all over it and it's coming along well. I'll post the link when he's done. Anyways look for some yummy food goodness to grace my blog in the near future.

I'm a lost shopping cart. I was going to take the easy way out and photograph a crossroads somewhere in town, but decided to wait for just the right image. Tonight we were out and I saw this and it just clicked...this is how I feel! So how does this translate to me and photography? Well like most, if not all of you, I love photography, but something about the business of photography drives me insane. I know you know what I mean. I just want to shoot images that make me want to do it again, and again, and again! So that's what I'm going to do...like it or not. I don't quite know where I'm going, but I do know I'm going...somewhere! So what does all this mean? I don't know! All I know is, like the lonely shopping cart, I need to find my home. :) There are a great many things I love about photography and a great many I despise. I'm going to focus on the ones I love and see where it takes me. You coming with me?

Well like I said yesterday I would and will blog today! *pats back* :) A few months back I did a session for a modeling/acting portfolio...and guess what...these lil cuties got a gig! Yep they will be on Scrubs later this season and hopefully I can get some video via YouTube that I'll post up after the episode airs. Chris and I have been friends since elementary school, which is a loooong time ago! Over the years we have shared many a good times, but these last few years have been especially awesome! We both have started families and even though we live many states apart it's nice to watch our families grow. So when Chris and his family came out to run the AFC Half Marathon with me, they thought it would be a perfect time to update the family album. I couldn't agree more! Yes Please! evening night right? If you have no idea what I'm talking about check the next post down. :) Anyways on to some awesomeness! A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting up with the way cute Borgo family! Sylvia is a San Diego based awesome photographer, so I knew this shoot was gonna be a hoot...and boy was I right. I left wet, sandy, and longing for some cotton candy. More on that later. We met up at Belmont Park in Mission Beach, and man oh man was it hopping for a Sunday evening! I can't wait to take our kiddos back soon! Wow that's a lot of text up there for me, so how about some pictures? :)

I really love these first two! Pure motherly love! :)

Their youngest was in total awe of the rides! Pretty cool way to spend a Sunday evening right?

The top one about sums up every parents life...loving moment...bam! Kiddo dead ahead now 12 o'clock!

We had a blast watching the roller coaster whiz past!

I think this one is my new all time fav family photo! Well the second one is pretty cute too! :)

Yeah and I like this one too...hmmm I have a problem being decisive...just ask Jennifer.
