Awesome shots Zak! I'm really loving that first one!! Great job! As to the lens -- so wanting to rent it for San Fran. I think you're just an all around good person, if I do say so myself! :)

and about the lens - sweeeeet!!! i would give up my 85 1.8 AND my 24 2.0 to have that lens!!!! too bad hocking both on ebay wouldn't be enough! it's numero uno on my lens wish list.
(05.21.09 @ 09:31 PM)Justin looks pretty dang cool-love the last image with the full sun and the shadow!
(05.21.09 @ 10:14 PM)Hahaha, let me know of that ploy works because I have a half-birthday coming up....that counts right? I am very intrigued with that 35mm 1.4. I think I may have to rent it soon too. :)
Great session. Love the black & white ones with the fence. Very cool.
(05.22.09 @ 08:36 AM)Really love the top b&w photo, the light is gorgeous, and the use of the fence is fantastic. Awesome set!
(05.22.09 @ 08:42 AM)Zak, Liked the edge! I always saw photography as an art...your helping me see the spirit behind the craft.
Tinman
He is too cool yo!
My fave is the one against the wood fence. The little touch of sunflare is awesome, sets a tone of the setting sun, which is perfect for a senior shoot.
Looks like a sweet lens. I love the image of Justin against the wooden fence.
(05.25.09 @ 06:26 PM)I love that lens too! Have you tried the 24 1.4 yet? Most ppl like the 35 better but I like the 24. ;)
(05.25.09 @ 06:37 PM)Thanks everyone! Lynn, I'll let ya know how my Father's Day goes. Hopefully I'll be posting a new toy on my blog soon. :) Becka I haven't tried the 24 yet. I really loved the perspective of the 35...hmmm now you have me thinking. May have to rent the 24. Hold on Jennifer don't get me that Father's Day gift just yet. :)

(05.26.09 @ 12:38 AM)What a whole different feel you get from Justin with and without the sisters... I really love the last photo on the right... you can obviously see how close they all are to each are. Really great memories that you captured here Zak!
(05.26.09 @ 07:28 AM)I agree with Rachel, those top photos would look phenom next to each other on a canvas. Awesome work Zak!
